            After his dramatic escape from Hogwarts in his seventh year, his mother forced him and his twin to return and finish their schooling the following year. He now runs the joke shop and attached lounge Weasley's Wizard Wheezes with his twin, Fred. They've had tremendous success ever since the store opened, providing both the novelties that made them famous as well as a growing number of more practical items. The lounge was added as a place to have small social gatherings, as well as test out some of their new food- and drink-based products. Most of his time is devoted to keeping the shop up and running, but he does make time for friends and family as often as possible.

            His best friend (other than Fred, of course) is Parvati Patil, who he gets along with wonderfully when he isn't threatening to kill her husband. His love life hasn't progressed much from his time at Hogwarts, when it was all but non-existent. He did have a brief fling with someone that only Fred knew about, but they've since separated and he's resigned himself to spending his nights alone in bed with his puffskeins.

            He doesn't have much in the way of hobbies, but if you can drag him out of the shop he's always up for some fun.
